ULMA Handling Systems continues to develop its new logistics facilities supervisor thanks to the help and recognition received from MINETUR and FEDER.
The project known as “Cloud logistics facilities supervisor system” by ULMA Handling Systems will be co-funded by MINETUR, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, and FEDER, the European Regional Development Fund (registration number: TSI-100105-2015-34).
The project focuses on developing technologies for the industry of the future, thus allowing new Internet infrastructure to be generated, along with big data processing, cloud computing and others. ULMA Handling Systems has developed its logistics facilities supervisor system in order to offer its clients high added value in their logistics processes.
The main aim of ULMA’s project is to design and develop a supervisor system through a stock of warehouses all around the world. Every warehouse will therefore have a local supervisor system which will interact remotely with the cloud part.
The cloud supervisor interacts with each local element, storing all the data received from each of the warehouses in order to subsequently process this information and exploit it, thus maintaining the operational efficiency of each of the warehouses.
Thanks to the remote supervisor system, ULMA Handling Systems will, through different types of devices, have up-to-date knowledge of the situation and status of each of the warehouses, regardless of the place and time of connection. The development of this system also guarantees the quality and reliability of the logistics processes of its clients whilst allowing cloud-based management.
