In 2025, the ULMA Group reported growth in its business, reaching nearly 1,23 billion euros in a fiscal year marked by global uncertainty, the impact of tariffs, and pressure on margins in the industrial sector. In this context, ULMA reinforced its financial strength last year after successfully closing a funding round of 115 million euros aimed at driving its growth and modernization plan.
The ULMA Cooperative Group closed the 2025 fiscal year with the highest revenue in its history, with total sales of 1,238.9 millioneuros, representing a 7.6% increase over the previous year.
The ULMA Group’s General Assembly, held this morning in Oñati, approved the financial statements for the past fiscal year, which was marked by global market volatility, the tariff policies of the United States, and geopolitical tensions. In this context, ULMA has reaffirmed its capacity for sustained growth, building on its cooperative model, sectoral diversification, and a strong international presence.

Challenging Environment
In an industrial landscape marked by pressure on costs and margins, ULMA’s performance reflects solid results despite the challenging environment. The increase in sales was accompanied by adjustments to EBITDA, which stood at 211.2 million euros, while net income reached 94.8 million euros.
Over the past year, ULMA expanded its operations in the Spanish market, which accounted for 31% of its total sales. However, 69% of the group’s revenue came from international markets, primarily Europe.
ULMA Group CEO Aitor Ayastuy emphasized that “this year’s results reflect the strength of our project and our ability to continue moving forward in a particularly challenging environment, supported by a solid, long-term cooperative model.”
Investments and Employment
During the fiscal year, ULMA maintained a significant level of investment, with CAPEX totaling 124.5 million euros, aimed at strengthening its industrial capacity, improving efficiency, and laying the groundwork for its future development.
In 2025, ULMA continued to prioritize stable, quality employment, with a net increase of 336 employees, bringing its total workforce to 6,083 professionals.
This employment growth is particularly significant in a context where attracting talent is challenging, and it reinforces the value of ULMA’s socio-business and cooperative project as a key differentiator.
Social Commitment
In 2025, the ULMA Group allocated a total of 1.3 million euros to social, cultural, educational, and community initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development and making a positive impact on its local communities.
These initiatives reflect ULMA’s commitment to actively contributing to the economic and social progress of the regions where it operates.
Outlook
Looking ahead to 2026, ULMA is moving forward with the goal of consolidating its growth and progressively improving profitability.
The Group’s strategic priorities include driving growth in key markets, restoring margins in a challenging environment, maintaining a sustained investment policy, and creating employment.
