ULMA Architectural Solutions gains KOMO certification for its Drainage Channels

ULMA Architectural Solutions, which develops a wide range of architectural solutions in polymer concrete, has gained the prestigious KOMO certification for its drainage channels.

The need for such certification arose when the company considered introducing its drainage solutions to the Dutch market. KOMO certification is essential for tendering for public and private projects in Holland. It was originally employed, prior toStandard UNE-1433, to guarantee the quality of products used in construction.

Given the complexity and thoroughness of the process involved in its attainment and subsequent maintenance, this certification is also recognised in other countries, such as Germany.  It is worth noting that KOMO certification involves six audits a year, whereas just one audit a year is required for other quality certifications, such as ISO 9001.

KOMO certification of ULMA drainage channels, accredits continuous product control, and guarantees their long-term quality. All of the improvement and adaptation procedures carried out underscore the commitment of ULMA Architectural Solutions’ partners and workers to the continuous improvement of their professional activity.
