The president of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council visits ULMA to learn about the evolution of our socio-business project

Eider Mendoza toured the ULMA Architectural Solutions expansion works and highlighted ULMA’s role as ‘the spearhead of an industry that generates well-being and cohesion within our community’.

The president of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, Eider Mendoza, met this morning with ULMA’s management team in Oñati to learn first-hand about the evolution of our socio-business project.
During the visit, she toured the expansion works of the ULMA Architectural Solutions production plant, which plans to invest 22 million euros over the next three years to improve its competitiveness and the long-term sustainability of the business.

During her visit to ULMA, the president of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council was accompanied by the Deputy for Economic Promotion, Ane Insausti, and the Director General for Economic Promotion, Unai Andueza. The General Manager of ULMA Group, Iñaki Gabilondo, and the President, Ibon Calvo, accompanied by members of their management team, presented our main strategic lines, with special emphasis on the development of advanced technological solutions for industry, the commitment to sustainability and the reinforcement of our co-operative model.

During the meeting, they adressed some of the future challenges and the role of public-private collaboration in the transformation of the productive fabric. In this sense, we underlined our interest in continuing to promote projects in cooperation with institutions and other agents of the industrial and technological ecosystem of the territory in order to make our socio-business project grow.

The president of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, Eider Mendoza, expressed her gratitude to ULMA for the visit to its facilities and for allowing her to get a closer look at our strategic plan for the upcoming years:
