The renowned footwear company will implement a complete automatic transport and automated storage system developed by ULMA Handling Systems.
Inyectados Laura, a Spanish company dedicated to designing and manufacturing leather footwear, has put its trust in ULMA Handling Systems to develop a complete automatic transport and automated storage system at its plant in Huecas, Toledo. The company has two different brands, Luisetti for men’s footwear and Laura Azaña for women.
The solution designed by ULMA will allow Inyectados Laura to maximise its productivity levels, thanks to the new logistics system equipped with a light conveyor for plastic boxes and an automated storage system. The automatic transport system will join the end of the manufacture line to ULMA’s automated storage system, made up of 2 Mini Load stacker cranes where the finished product is stored awaiting preparation at the picking posts.
ULMA has extensive experience in the footwear sector with brands such as Panter, where a complete automatic storage system was implemented and allowed the company to become a leading player in the industry. The footwear company also invested in innovation in logistics, successively upgrading its facilities managed by Unit Load and Mini Load stacker cranes and a complete automatic picking system.
The Uruguayan company Indutop, dedicated to the design and distribution of fabrics and footwear, is another example in which ULMA has developed a complete automated logistics system.
