New viaducts transforming mobility in Brazil

The construction of new viaducts on the Via Dutra motorway aims to improve connections between São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro.

The viaducts under construction are designed to optimise mobility in one of the country’s most congested regions and generate around 4,000 direct and indirect jobs.

One of the main challenges involved in this project is the height of the viaducts, which reach up to 75 metres, and doing so without interrupting traffic on what is considered Brazil’s busiest motorway. ULMA Construction has been able to meet this challenge with its formwork, falsework and scaffolding solutions that combine safety, technical precision and speed of execution.
