Mesoestetic increases its capacity with the acquisition of a new ULMA thermoforming machine

Mesoestetic Pharma Group, a leader in the field of medical aesthetics and dermatology, experienced a notable increase in demand and responded to the need to optimize its packaging process with the acquisition of a new packaging machine from ULMA Packaging.

With a vision focused on providing comprehensive skin care solutions, Mesoestetic Pharma Group has consolidated its position as a global leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of high quality products and treatments in medical aesthetics and dermatology. The company is characterized by its scientific approach, dedication to excellence, and a continuous commitment to innovation.

The growing market demand for filler products exceeded Mesoestetic Pharma Group’s capacity to package and supply this product with ULMA’s previous packaging machine. In response to this need and to maintain the quality of its products, the company sought a solution that would not only increase packaging productivity, but would also be adaptable for future products pending approval.

To this end, they acquired a new ULMA packaging machine, specifically a TFS 500 thermoforming machine, with which Mesoestetic’s maintenance team could carry out preventive maintenance tasks and format changes internally and autonomously.

The implementation of this equipment enabled a remarkable 60% increase in productivity, effectively meeting growing demand and keeping the company at the forefront of the filler industry.

The productivity improvement not only solved the immediate challenge of meeting the growing demand for the fillers, but also positioned Mesoestetic to tackle future product launches. The collaboration with ULMA was not limited to the delivery of the equipment; the design department actively worked on improving the design and reducing the unit cost of packaging for the different product versions.

After installation and start-up, ULMA’s service included the training of Mesoestetic’s maintenance team, allowing them to carry out preventive maintenance tasks and format changes internally and autonomously.
