Homes in Valdebebas Madrid with ULMA Facades

ULMA Architectural Solutions has supplied and installed its Ventilated Facade on 54 homes in the Rosales de Valdebebas residential development in Madrid.

Combination of textures

The project had very highly modulated geometric lines and the studio EMASE Arquitectura required textures to break up those surfaces. For this purpose, the ULMA VANGUARD façade was used with its wide range of textures. The smooth AIRE texture was combined with the wavy AGUA texture to give contrast and a dynamic effect to the facade. “The material plays an essential role in our projects, and the adaptability and resistance of Stoneo was decisive when opting for ULMA’s façade, we are totally satisfied with the result,” said Eugenia del Río Villar, the project architect.

Energy efficiency

According to Eugenia del Río Villar, they were looking for an energy-efficient facade solution that was in line with the initial idea. Sustainability and the fact that ULMA’s ventilated façade significantly contributes to improving the building’s thermal behaviour promoting sustainable architecture was one of the key points when deciding on the façade system.
