ULMA Handling Systems has again developed an innovative automatic storage and picking system for the firm Brandili, allowing it to maintain its position on the textile market thanks to the efficiency of its logistics.
The new Brandili system is based on an ultramodern Mini Load stacker crane and an upgrade of the sorting system, which has increased capacity by 50 units, along with the outputs from the automatic sorting system.
The first project developed by ULMA for Brandili had a logistics system consisting of two Mini Load pallet shuttles and a classification system designed for double trays and a pick to light system to guide operators when preparing multiple orders.
Before implementing the solution offered by ULMA, the logistics process at Brandili was entirely manual: the boxes were stored manually and automatic picking was done through printed lists. After careful study, Brandili decided to put its trust in ULMA’s automated solution, and it now has a versatile, ultramodern automated logistics system which can adapt to changing market demands, new service policies and the latest products.
